2024 - an exciting time for surfing in the Philippines.

2024 is in full swing, and with that, there are a tonne of events coming up throughout the year. To start the year off, there’s a bunch of surf competitions and events lined up over the next couple of months all over the Philippines. Whether you surf to compete, surf for fun or just want to watch, why not check out one of these events.

UPCOMING SURF EVENTS AND CONTESTS

Palawan is not only a stunning place of natural beauty, its also got some epic surf. There are two contests coming up. One in Nagbotan and one in San Vic. Even if you’re not there during the contest, if you’re making a trip to Palawan and surf season is on, why not check out one of these surf spots!

WSL (world surf league) is back in the Philippines with two massive international surfing events in La Union and Baler. Catch some pros from all over the world compete to earn points and boost their international ranking in the Qualifying Series. Even more exciting as both these events will hold both longboard and shortboard contests.

Surigao Del Sur in Mindanao has some incredible surf, and in February two amazing surf destinations, Cantilan and Marihatag, will be hosting national competitions, open for anyone to compete. Definitely worth the trip to try out different surf spots.

Queen of the Point is the event we at KS Boardriders are most excited about, as we are one of the main sponsors alongside Sisstr. Watch lady loggers from all over the globe get together in San Juan, La Union, for a few days of female-fueled fun, sisterhood and good surf.
