Marama Fundraiser Winners
The Marama Fundraiser 2024 has come to a close, and we couldn’t be proud of the community for coming together and raising money for Marama to compete in this season’s WSL Qualifying Series Tour.
Through the fundraiser we managed to raise 192,574.26 PhP
This money is a huge help for Marama, required to travel to several locations across Asia and Australia to complete the Qualifying Series. The Qualifying Series is a set of events whereby the best surfers from each region compete against each other. The top 5 surfers from each region then qualify for the Challenger Series, a set of events where the best surfers in the world can compete against each other. Marama Tokong was able to get to the Challenger Series in 2023, and this fundraiser can help him get there once again.
All who donated were entered into our online raffle to win a series of prizes. We also released a Marama Surf Tour tee, where all profits go towards the fundraiser.
